Minimum Requirements (non-negotiable)

• Automotive Electrician Trade Certificate
• 2+ Years experience (Working with Mining Trackless Mobile Machinery experience would be advantageous)
• Matric certificate
• Medically fit
• No criminal record
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
• Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
• Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
• Servicing of electrical automotive parts.
• Servicing and repairing electrical systems on Trackless Mobile Machinery.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
• Ensure quality maintenance on the ECS systems installed on mining operations.
• Keep track of technical projects and update supervisor and shaft foreman on a regular basis.
• Ensure competency on all ECS systems.
• Attend shaft meetings.
• Carry out regular inspections and do routine maintenance on service machines
• Do stand-by, overtime and call-out.
• Ensure the uphold of the company’s values, vision, and disciplinary code.
• Shift work according to roster (Morning shift, Afternoon shift and Night Shift on rotation basis)
